Delivered after your session
Everything worth asking.
Availability, travel, delivery timelines, and what the day itself feels like.
Availability & Booking
Portrait and family sessions are typically booked two to six weeks out, while weddings and full-day events are usually reserved six to twelve months ahead. If your date is close, still reach out — last-minute openings do happen.
Send a request with the date you have in mind. Every inquiry is reviewed personally, and you'll hear back within two business days with availability, confirmed pricing, and a secure link to reserve.
A signed agreement and the retainer. Until both are in place the date stays open to other inquiries, so the sooner those are complete, the safer your date is.
Yes. Sessions may be rescheduled once at no cost with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability. Outdoor sessions affected by weather are always moved at no charge.
Travel
New Jersey, working regularly throughout the state and across the New York City metro area — Manhattan, Brooklyn, Hoboken, Jersey City, and everywhere in between.
Often. Destination weddings, out-of-state portraits, and travel sessions are welcome. Anywhere within roughly an hour of Newark is covered by the standard session fee; beyond that, a simple travel estimate is quoted upfront with no surprises.
You're welcome to pick somewhere meaningful to you. If you'd rather not decide, I'll suggest locations chosen for light, privacy, and the mood you're after — and handle permits or venue coordination where they're required.
Delivery & Galleries
A small set of previews is shared within 3–5 days. Full galleries are delivered within 2–3 weeks for sessions, and 4–6 weeks for weddings and full-day events.
Through a private, password-protected online gallery. You can view, favorite, and download full-resolution files from any device, and share the link with family whenever you'd like.
Every delivered photograph is individually color-graded and finished in a clean, cinematic style. Retouching for skin and fine detail is included on portrait selections.
Galleries remain live for at least twelve months. Download your favorites and keep a personal backup — archives can be restored on request, but your own copy is always the safest.
What to Expect
Almost everyone says this first. You'll be guided the entire time — posing, expression, where to look, what to do with your hands — so nothing is left to guesswork.
Most portrait sessions run 60–90 minutes, which is unhurried enough for one or two looks and a change of scenery. Events and weddings are scoped to the coverage hours you book.
Solid tones, considered textures, and pieces that fit well. Once your date is confirmed you'll receive wardrobe and preparation guidance tailored to your location and light.
We'll watch the forecast together. Outdoor sessions are rescheduled at no charge, and covered or indoor alternatives are always on hand when the weather turns.
Cancellations & Refunds
No. The deposit (retainer) holds your date and time and is non-refundable. Example: on a $700 session with a $200 deposit, cancelling means the $200 stays with the studio and the remaining $500 balance is simply never charged.
Cancel in writing more than 48 hours ahead and you only lose the deposit. Example: a $700 session with a $200 deposit cancelled five days out costs you $200 and nothing further.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start time may be charged the full session fee, because the date can no longer be offered to anyone else. Example: a $700 session cancelled the night before can be charged the full $700 — the $200 deposit plus the $500 balance.
Not arriving within 30 minutes of the start time, without notice, is treated as a cancellation on the day. Example: a 10:00 session with no contact by 10:30 is treated as a same-day cancellation and may be charged the full session fee.
Yes, and it is almost always the better option. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability; your deposit moves to the new date rather than being lost. Outdoor sessions affected by weather are always moved at no charge.
Completed sessions are not refundable. Editing style, retouching, and image selection remain at the photographer's discretion, and you receive professionally edited final images rather than RAW files.
Send it in writing — reply to your booking email or use the contact page. The date and time your written notice arrives is what determines whether the 48-hour window applies.
Ask about cancellations
Have a question about cancellations or refunds?
Ask in your own words. The answer is written from the studio's published booking agreement — nothing else.
